Job Summary
As a Sales Development Representative – Higher Education, you will generate new business opportunities through outbound and inbound prospecting, utilizing various methods including cold calling, email, and social outreach. Collaborating with other sales team members, you will report on market trends, track leads using Salesforce, and effectively communicate Explorance offerings. You will strive to achieve monthly and quarterly sales quotas and objectives, requiring strong communication skills, time management, and a dedicated work ethic.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education (or equivalent experience)
- Strong work ethic – willing to put in the work
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management and organisation
- Strong phone presence, comfortable with high-volume, outbound cold calling
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce) or other relevant sales optimisation tools
- Experience working in a dynamic and challenging, growing start-up environment
