Job Summary
Sales Development Representative responsible for generating and qualifying leads, nurturing warm prospects, and setting demos for Account Executives. Key duties include building and managing a pipeline, identifying needs, tailoring outreach, and coordinating meetings between prospects and AEs. Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM, strong communication, and a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas are required. The role emphasizes lead generation, outreach across multiple channels, and contributing to revenue growth; certifications/training such as JobsEQ Fit are expected within 90 days of hire. Location is Richmond, VA with on-site requirements. No sponsorship for work authorization is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business, psychology, marketing, communications or related field required, bachelor’s degree preferred
- One or more years’ experience in Sales or as an SDR with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other sales focused software
- A history of working effectively in a team setting; previous work or internship experience in a high-volume sales or customer outreach environment
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
