Job Summary
Sales Development Representative responsible for the first layer of engagement with professionals and organizations across AI, Data, Design, Marketing, and Product, to introduce BrainStation’s mission, forge lasting relationships, and expand BrainStation’s presence in Toronto. Drive world-class events, support outreach strategies with Growth/Sales/Marketing teams, leverage CRM/outreach tools, and cultivate relationships with stakeholders, alumni, and advocates to contribute to long-term community growth. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and 1–3 years in marketing, partnerships, business development, or related roles; strong verbal and written communication, self-motivation, and comfort with multiple channels (phone, email, video, in-person). Perks include flexible working hours and work-from-home options; compensation estimate is $50,000–$55,000. This role is hybrid in Toronto with in-office and remote components.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1–3 years of professional experience in marketing, partnerships, business development, or community-related roles
- Strong communication skills and ability to build authentic connections
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Experience with CRM or outreach tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach) is an asset
- Passion for community-building, education, and creating positive experiences
