Job Summary
Planful is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join a growing team and handle outbound activities, identify and qualify opportunities, and generate pipeline. You’ll discuss prospects’ pain points, gather requirements, correlate business value to customer needs, partner with Account Executives to strategize outbound efforts, and contribute to achieving quarterly quota. The role involves doing outbound outreach, understanding finance users’ needs, updating Salesforce with rich call notes, and working in a fast-paced, remote-capable environment from the Austin, TX area. Strong written and verbal communication, a hunter mentality, and remote-work readiness are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree – Finance or Accounting degree is a plus
- 6-18 months in Top-of-Funnel sales role preferred
- Experience with Salesforce and Outreach is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with highly-developed interpersonal and organizational skills
- Passionate about pursuing and growing a career in technology/SaaS sales
- History of overachieving quota in past experiences
- Comfortable and accountable while working remotely
