Job Summary
Sales Development Representative focusing on rotating through territories to fill open territories and maximize sales of supplier brands to the trade. Responsibilities include calling on accounts, delivering professional sales presentations, maintaining product levels, ensuring brand visibility with POS materials, collecting payments, educating account staff through training seminars, servicing accounts, analyzing pricing/programming information, maintaining historical purchase data, ensuring account compliance, and contributing to overall sales and merchandising objectives. Requires Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), at least 2 years of sales experience, strong communication, multi-tasking, analytics, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales
- Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
- Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Analytic and Reporting skills
- Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Preferred Qualifications: Solicitor’s Permit
