Job Summary
The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for researching target companies, identifying leads, qualifying them, and scheduling meetings between decision-makers and Account Executives. This email- and phone-intensive role requires outgoing, energetic, and detail-oriented applicants. Responsibilities include achieving pipeline and forecast goals, performing needs analysis, and documenting activities in Salesforce.com. Strong communication, organizational skills, and a passion for sales are essential. Candidates should have flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent researching, prospecting and closing skills
- Enthusiasm for making calls and sending emails every day
- Passion for sales, including curiosity, win/win customer approach, competitiveness, and tenacity
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work with individuals at all levels
- Team player who can also work independently and maintain a high level of productivity
- Comfort with technology
- College degree and/or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with software sales (especially software-as-a-service)
