Job Summary
Sales Development Manager responsible for managing client relationships to achieve assortment, merchandising, pricing, and promotion objectives, driving market share, volume, and profitability. Duties include demonstrating product and policy knowledge to clients, monitoring market and customer trends, providing fiduciary management of client relationships across innovation, pricing, programming, shelving and claims, maintaining records and managing portals, establishing regular communications with clients and internal teams, and pursuing training to enhance communication, organization, analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills. Collaboration as a team player, adherence to the Code of Business Conduct, and development of subordinates are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or 4-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and associates
- Must know basic arithmetic operations to accurately calculate budgets, net sales, margins, promotional percentages, discounts, and commissions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver’s license and a clean DMV report
