Job Summary
Ensure achievement of the Region Plan for Monochrome and Color Cut Sheet Production product families by validating the 90-day forecast and maintaining minimum 85% monthly accuracy. Act as a subject matter expert to lead, coach, and drive the sales process, supporting managers with high-level prospecting activities and sales cycle management for key, multiple-unit prospects. Conduct critical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to close business while ensuring sales representatives remain fully trained and proficient. Build customer confidence in Canon's product offerings through powerful, convincing presentations and collaborate with other Region Specialists to exchange best practices. Manage extensive travel throughout the assigned territory, including overnights, while maintaining a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 7 years of related experience
- Experience selling Production Printing products
- 3+ years in a specialist position
- Knowledge of Color and Color Sales
- Experience as an iGen3 Specialist
- Experience as a DocuTech Specialist
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to motivate and drive sales reps activity
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to give powerful, convincing presentations and demonstrations
- Independent, self-motivated, self-starter professional
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to quickly establish rapport with co-workers and customers
