Job Summary
Drive the Region Plan for Monochrome and Color Cut Sheet Production by validating 90-day forecasts with 85% monthly accuracy and managing sales cycles for key multi-unit prospects. Lead and coach sales representatives to execute high-level prospecting, presentations, and demonstrations while ensuring they remain proficient in the sales process. Act as a subject matter expert to build customer confidence in Canon's product offerings and collaborate with other Region Specialists to share best practices. Manage extensive territory travel including overnights, requiring a valid driver's license. Report to the local office under a hybrid schedule with options for remote work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 7 years of related experience
- Experience selling Production Printing products
- 3+ years in a specialist position
- Knowledge of Color and Color Sales
- Experience as an iGen3 Specialist
- Experience as a DocuTech Specialist
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to motivate and drive sales reps activity without direct management authority
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Skilled at giving powerful, convincing presentations and demonstrations
- Independent, self-motivated, self-starter professional
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to quickly establish rapport with co-workers and customers
- Good credibility with high-level decision makers
- Possess excellent sales skills
- Very strong objection-handling and closing ability
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills
- Proficiency with numbers
- Extensive travel throughout assigned territory

- Reside in the United States at the time of hire

Desired Qualifications
- Experience as an iGen3 Specialist who has been a DocuTech Specialist a plus
