Sales Design Specialist (Contract)

Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients moving through the design and listing process, from initial concept through a published listing. Consult with clients on initial product designs to translate ideas into manufacturable, sellable products, guiding them through refinement and identifying missing details. Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to directly edit and refine designs when platform limitations require hands-on adjustments. Answer client questions about the design and prompting process, proactively checking in to ensure projects move forward smoothly. Flag recurring design or product issues to the Product team to improve Arcade's tools over time. Partner with Sales and Account Management on higher-touch accounts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Excellent communication skills
- Polished, professional client-facing presence
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong design eye
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve and refine product designs
- Comfort blending design consulting with sales and customer-facing work
- Background in a design-forward, client-facing role
- Entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset
- Comfort with ambiguity in an early-stage startup environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in product design, textiles, pattern-making, or manufacturing
- Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms and product listing workflows
- Interest in generative AI and its application to design and commerce
