Job Summary
Develop and cultivate sales opportunities with strategic clients for structured cabling, electronic security, A/V, and perimeter intrusion systems. Maintain end-user sales activity, generate leads through speaking engagements and networking, and build long-term relationships via consultative selling. Prepare strategic plans, presentations, proposals with detailed scopes of work, and sales contracts while facilitating bidding processes with the estimation team. Attend pre-bids, walk, and review jobsites; prepare and coordinate project hand-over meetings with Operations. Accurately input data and generate reports for CRM systems. Engage directly with Design/Estimation and Operations teams to shape product offerings. Achieve revenue and margin objectives through executive-level selling and account ownership.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years experience in the Security Integration Industry
- At least 3 years in Outside Sales
- Experience in creating estimates, proposals, and designs
- Strong client facing experience
- Experience in executive level selling
- Experience in owning accounts
- Fluency with Microsoft Office 365 software tools
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively
- Self-starter with a positive outlook and a high level of enthusiasm
- Unwavering drive to develop and increase revenues
- Excellent presentation (development and delivery), verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and experience in design of Pref-Tech products and services
- In-depth knowledge of products and services that Pref-Tech offers
- In-depth knowledge of a rapidly changing market that comprises the products and services that Pref-Tech offers
- Ability to sit for extended periods, operate a computer and standard office equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and electronically
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
