Job Summary
Act as the single point of contact for all flooring service requests by meeting clients in their homes to discuss projects, manage installation schedules, and coordinate product orders. Conduct final walkthroughs for completed jobs to collect payments and re-visit finished sites within five to ten days for inspections and referrals. Maintain a mobile showroom, manage sample inventory, and use proprietary software on an iPad for estimating and quoting. Generate 50% of leads within six months while adhering to strict sales metrics including a 75% demo rate and 45% close rate. Attend weekly team meetings, BNI events, and sales reviews to build relationships and meet organizational goals. Work full-time flexible hours including evenings and weekends, utilizing a company van and gas coverage for client visits.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of in-home and/or outside sales
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Networking experience
- Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer literate
- Comfortable speaking confidently in public
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to drive a vehicle in a safe manner and have a clean driving record
- Must be able to hear telephonic equipment and comfortably communicate with clients and others by telephone and in person
- Near vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Availability for homeowner appointments in the evenings and on weekends
Desired Qualifications
