Job Summary
Sales Counselor role selling pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery services, and related merchandise; assists families with funeral selections and attends services. Leads generated through walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive prospecting. Estimated first-year earnings range of $45,000–$65,000 with uncapped commission; training pay of $18/hour for 6 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of sales experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
- Mileage reimbursement for travel
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook)
- Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred)
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends
