Job Summary
Sales Counselor role focused on selling pre-need and at-need funeral services and related inventory to families. Responsibilities include assisting families with funeral selections, attending services, and handling a mix of walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive lead generation. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; related education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred
- 1 year of sales experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement for travel
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required
- Experience with a CRM system preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills; attention to detail
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
- Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed
