Job Summary
Sells pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory, as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise, and assists families with funeral selections. Leads are generated through walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive lead generation and prospecting. Training pay of $18/hour for 6 weeks accompanies a first-year earnings range of $45,000-$55,000 with uncapped commission. Requires strong communication, organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends; includes mileage reimbursement for travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of sales experience preferred
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
- Mileage reimbursement for travel
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook)
- Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred)
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
