Job Summary
Sales Counselor role in Everstory Partners focusing on selling pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery services, and related inventory. Responsibilities include assisting families with funeral selections, attending services, and handling leads generated via walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive prospecting. Requires a high school diploma, 1 year of sales experience preferred, valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided), and proficiency in MS Office with CRM experience preferred. Training pay is provided and earnings are supplemented by uncapped commission; estimated first-year earnings range is $50,000–$70,000. Location is Westland, MI. Full-time position with some holiday, evening, and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of sales experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
- Mileage reimbursement for travel
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook)
- Experience with a CRM (lead management system preferred)
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed
