Job Summary
Support the complete life cycle of a transaction from signed sales orders to invoicing. Generate machine quotations using pricing programs to deliver timely, accurate, and competitive quotes that meet profitability goals. Coordinate delivery and verify products are ready for shipment; track and report transaction status through to completion. Work closely with Rental, Receiving, Service, Parts, and Sales to align on timelines and requirements. Based on field-sourced input, select stock numbers or configure machines to meet customer quotes, formulate price calculations including attachments, PM agreements, extended warranties, and any customer requirements, and apply relevant discounts and financing programs to maximize profitability. Submit cost calculations for review and approval, and collaborate with Territory Manager or Sales Manager on quotation revisions. Enter quotes into the Territory Manager’s Prospect Board for visibility and tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Degree preferred or related experience.
- Ability to stay committed to task and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Extensive knowledge of construction machinery products and applications.
- Team player with ability to work with others to achieve common goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, CRM systems and other operating or web based systems.
- Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch etc.
- Lift 45 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for continuous periods.
