Job Summary
Scheduling & Production Coordination to support sales and production for a structural wood truss manufacturing operation. Coordinate production schedules, manage customer orders, and schedule deliveries in collaboration with production supervisors, logistics, and dispatch. Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, timelines, and changes; review orders for completeness including truss specifications and delivery requirements; coordinate with design teams to ensure timely truss layouts and approvals; maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP or MiTek and generate reports on scheduling, backlog, and production timelines. Act as a liaison between sales, design, production, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution and timely communication. Ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, with 2–5 years in scheduling/coordinating roles in manufacturing/construction, and proficient with Microsoft Office; experience reading construction drawings and interpreting specifications is preferred; ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment. Primarily office-based within a manufacturing facility; frequent interaction with production floor personnel and outdoor delivery coordination; may require occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2–5 years of experience in scheduling, sales coordination, or operations in manufacturing, construction, or building materials
