Job Summary

Senior Sales Coordinator acts as the strategic backbone of the regional sales department, bridging sales leadership, production teams, and customers. Responsibilities include overseeing complex quotes for aggregates, ready-mix concrete, or asphalt; evaluating and streamlining sales workflows; managing sales agreements from draft to execution; monitoring data quality and customer lists; assisting in high-stakes proposals and bids; generating and analyzing weekly/monthly sales reports; serving as primary contact for tier-one clients to resolve billing discrepancies, delivery schedules, and product quality inquiries; leading the credit application process with Finance; mediating high-stakes customer issues; coordinating product availability with the Sales Manager; ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA/MSHA, and environmental regulations; and mentoring junior staff while promoting a safety-focused culture. Key competencies include pricing strategy, project logistics, data-driven insights, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience
  • Work Experience: 3+ years of experience in Sales Coordination or Logistics, preferably in Construction, Mining, or Heavy Manufacturing
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Time management, Detail oriented, Effective communicator, Organizational skills, Problem solving, Microsoft Office Suites, Customer service skills, Financial acumen
