Job Summary
Process sales order exceptions, maintain customer pricing and quotes, and prepare quotations within company systems. Track bid opportunities, validate cash-on-delivery sales orders prior to billing, and produce sales invoices and related documentation. Coordinate customer communications, support account setup activities, and generate shipment and business analytics reports. Partner with sales representatives, operations personnel, logistics teams, and accounting to resolve issues and assist management with special projects. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all records while maintaining sales tax exemption documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales administration, customer service, operations support, accounting support, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within construction materials, aggregates, asphalt, manufacturing, transportation, or related industries
- Experience with ERP, inventory management, customer management, or order processing systems
- Knowledge of billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and purchase order processes
