Job Summary
Sales Coordinator role providing office-based support to Sales & Marketing at Marriott properties. Responsibilities include performing general office duties, preparing sales documents (proposals, contracts, banquet event orders), promoting the brand image, gathering materials for information packages, applying sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, entering/retrieving/reconciling data (commissions, leads, third parties) in sales software, answering guest questions about facilities/services, and serving as primary contact via phone and email. Requires professional communication, teamwork, adherence to policies, confidentiality, and ability to move items weighing up to 10 pounds. Preferred Education: high school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of related experience.
