Job Summary
Sales Coordinator role supporting Sales & Marketing at a Marriott property. Responsibilities include performing general office duties, preparing sales-related documents (proposals, contracts, banquet event orders), promoting brand image, assembling information packages, using sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, entering and reconciling information in sales software (commissions, leads, third parties), answering guest questions about facilities/services, and serving as the point of contact for clients via phone and email. Also includes adhering to policies, maintaining professional appearance, protecting assets, welcoming guests, addressing service needs, communicating clearly, producing accurate written documents, building positive relationships, supporting team goals, complying with QA standards, and performing other reasonable duties. Preferred qualifications specify a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of related experience, no supervisory experience, and no required license/certification.
