Job Summary
Process sales orders for assigned customer groups and serve as the primary internal support resource for customers, regional sales managers, sales representatives, and related departments. Coordinate the complete sales order process from quotation through shipment, invoicing, and project completion while preparing quotations based on customer inquiries. Manage product availability, review contracts, and communicate effectively with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders. Process purchase orders, sales orders, order confirmations, receiving documents, and related sales documentation, including transportation and shipping documents like commercial invoices and packing lists. Support order closing processes, including invoice preparation, payment tracking, RMA processing, and order status management. Monitor order progress and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams, while providing reception and customer support assistance as needed. Develop and maintain system knowledge through internal and external training programs. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in sales support, customer service, account management, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling customer and business information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work overtime with short notice based on business requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial equipment, or machine sales environment preferred.
