Job Summary
Sales Coordinator at Accor responsible for attracting new and existing hotel customers, managing sales activities, including receiving inquiries, preparing proposals and contracts, coordinating marketing initiatives, reporting, and supporting the Sales team to understand and share knowledge about Fairmont Baku Hotel products, services, and programs. Responsibilities include contacting customers, ensuring timely return of contracts, coordinating field inspections and trade exhibitions, aligning with department guidelines, reporting to management, coordinating with sales and marketing teams, using 1C for attendance scheduling, and maintaining professional client relations. Requires higher education in tourism/hospitality (desirable), knowledge of Opera PMS and Microsoft Windows, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and fluency in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is a plus).
Required Qualifications
- Higher education (tourism and hotel management is desirable)
- Experience in the relevant position (preferred)
- Knowledge of Opera PMS Software, Microsoft Windows
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Professional telephone etiquette and strong command of language
- Fluent Azerbaijani, English; Russian language is an asset
- Strong team player who can work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Dynamic, willing to learn
- Have good sales and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
