Sales Consultant, Trauma – Raleigh/Durham NC - Johnson & Johnson MedTech - Orthopaedics

Job Summary
Develop and implement account-specific sales strategies to convert prospective surgeons and penetrate existing customers within the Raleigh/Durham territory. Drive product sales for trauma care solutions by presenting, demonstrating, and ensuring proper utilization of assigned instruments and procedures. Maintain direct contact with surgeons, operating room personnel, and central supply staff to support cases and provide in-services. Qualify prospects, manage a book of business, and handle competitive threats while maintaining inventory of sales equipment. Achieve business plan objectives and sales quotas through accurate resource use.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Associate degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.)
- Valid driver's license issued in the United States
- Ability to travel, which may include weekend and/or overnight travel
- Residence in or ability to relocate to the posted territory
- Strong interpersonal communication, influencing, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Results orientation/Prioritization
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Functional knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Basic knowledge of surgery
- Minimum of 3 years of professional and/or related experience
- Associate degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) + minimum of 5 years of professional and/or related experience
- Minimum of 8 years of professional and/or related experience
- Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty + minimum of 3 years of professional and/or related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experienced in data analysis
- Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions
