Job Summary
Sales Consultant for Sysco Guest Supply Canada in the Maritimes, responsible for promoting products to the hotel/lodging sector and managing a portfolio of accounts. The role emphasizes strategic account planning, growing the territory, maintaining and expanding sales, delivering B2B sales consultations, and providing end-to-end sales support. Key responsibilities include identifying new opportunities, presenting to customers, ensuring brand standards compliance, negotiating margins, leveraging CRM tools (Salesforce, Phocas, GForce) and sales training resources, forecasting sales results, and coordinating with internal teams to meet customer expectations. Flexible hours may be required to meet customer needs, and a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle is required. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years or more of sales experience
- Experience in hospitality or supply/distribution sales preferred
- Experience with relationship sales managing new and existing customer opportunities and up-selling preferred
- Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to cultivate relationships and grow sales
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle
- Ability to learn and use proprietary CRM tools for planning and forecasting sales growth
