Job Summary
Sales Consultant at Stanton Optical is responsible for greeting customers, identifying eyewear needs, assisting in selecting frames and lenses within budget, troubleshooting prescriptions, resolving complaints, and achieving sales goals while adhering to brand standards and safety requirements. The role involves basic lab-related tasks (assembling lenses, edging stock), ensuring timely delivery of orders, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Familiarity with eye care products, promotions, and maintaining a clean store environment is expected; optical experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service while exceeding sales goals in a fast paced retail environment
- ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- strong communication skills with diverse groups of people
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- schedule flexibility; hours determined by business needs
- optical experience is a plus
