Job Summary
Sales Consultant at Fortune Fish & Gourmet responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and promoting premium seafood and other gourmet products. Builds relationships with chefs, restaurant owners, and hospitality/retail partners, delivers customized product solutions, collaborates with product, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely deliveries and accurate terms, develops strategic sales plans, maintains detailed sales records, and uses CRM and digital channels to identify prospects and close opportunities. Requires strong English communication, quick product/system learning, proficiency with MS Office and presentation software, and a proactive, detail-oriented, professional approach to fast-paced environments.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of outside sales experience in perishable food products; seafood experience is highly preferred
- 2–5 years of professional sales in the foodservice industry, or 5–7 years in chef/restaurant management
- Education: Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts preferred, or 3+ years of relevant industry experience
