Job Summary
Optimize execution at the account level and cost effectively distribute company products to improve market share, distribution, and account relationships. Call on assigned accounts in the Troy, NY area according to schedule approved by the District Sales Manager, achieving sales objectives and performance standards for all brands and promotions. Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts, collect accounts receivable, and resolve customer problems with sales and deliveries. Complete Impact Selling Objectives reporting, adhere to sales standards including P.O.S. and rotation, and develop retailer presentations. Provide daily voicemail and e-mail communication to the District Sales Manager, attend sales functions, and utilize database and inventory software. Requires a valid driver's license, NYS Liquor Authority Solicitor's permit, and ability to lift up to 160 pounds while traveling to convenient stores, grocery stores, bars, and restaurants.
Required Qualifications
- An Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent experience from a two-year college or technical school
- six months to one-year related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid driver's license
- good driving record
- NYS Liquor Authority Solicitor's permit
- Ability to follow directions and complete assignments in a timely manner
- Ability to read labels, policies, and procedures
- Ability to comprehend various coding systems
- Ability to write correspondence
- Ability to give presentations to staff on company related information
