Job Summary

Sales-driven leadership role focused on maximizing occupancy at a retirement residence through a consultative sales process, cultivating leads, conducting tours, closing lease signings, and designing meaningful programs aligned with Chartwell’s six dimensions of wellness. Collaborates with Marketing to develop events and promotional materials, analyzes sales trends in CRM, manages partnerships with local healthcare and community groups, and leads volunteer and fundraising initiatives. Requires post-secondary education or equivalent, First Aid certification, proven consultative sales experience, comfort working with seniors, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to travel within the local community. Weekend rotations may be required as part of management duties, with health and safety policies followed throughout the residence.

Required Qualifications

  • Post secondary education or equivalent
  • First Aid Certificate (training will be provided)
  • Proven experience in a consultative sales role
  • Experience working with seniors is an asset
  • Knowledge of the surrounding area and community an asset
  • Discipline to adhere to a sales process
  • Communication skills with prospects, community leaders, staff and residents
  • Customer service oriented
  • Organized and able to multi-task
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
