Job Summary
Greet customers and assist them in selecting furniture, bedding, and electronics while providing product information, features, benefits, pricing, and payment options. Conduct product demonstrations, answer questions, and process sales transactions including financing discussions. Maintain high product knowledge of furniture materials and manufacturing, stay updated on industry trends, and assist with merchandising and stocking. Work with management to achieve sales targets and follow up post-sale to resolve issues. Ability to work flexible schedules including long hours, weekends, and holidays; physical ability to lift 25-50 pounds and stand extended periods. Fluency in English required; Spanish preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in the furniture or home décor industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sales skills and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Knowledge of furniture products, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift and move furniture products, as well as stand for extended periods of time and have the ability to lift and carry 25-50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and reaching to retrieve items
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred
