Job Summary
Sell luxury La-Z-Boy furniture to high-end clients on the showroom floor, guiding customers through a premium sales experience and coordinating design-oriented consultations. Drive revenue through a proven selling process, generate inspired room designs with furniture and decor recommendations, and promote store-wide promotions and the Design program. Leverage interpersonal and design skills to build rapport, manage objections, close sales, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. This role emphasizes professional presentation, attention to detail, knowledge of product features and benefits, and a strong focus on delivering a wow factor in a luxury showroom environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence
- Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively manage time and conflicting priorities
- Ability to work the schedule and hours dictated by business needs
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
