Job Summary
Sales Consultant role delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales through consultative selling, relationship building, and proactive business development. Responsibilities include engaging customers professionally, increasing store traffic via social media, community outreach, and local partnerships; maintaining customer relationships for repeat business and referrals; achieving sales goals through proactive engagement and follow-up; promoting products, financing options, and add-ons; staying knowledgeable about offerings, warranties, and promotions; accurate sales documentation and cash handling; supporting showroom and merchandising tasks; and adhering to company policies while coordinating with management as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant sales or customer service experience will be considered
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred
- Previous social media business building experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and deliver strong customer experiences
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn point-of-sale and financing systems
- Ability to perform physical job requirements, including lifting and moving merchandise with or without accommodation
- Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
