Job Summary
Sales Consultant responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales through consultative selling, relationship building, and proactive business development. Responsibilities include engaging customers professionally, generating store traffic via social media and community partnerships, building relationships to drive repeat business and referrals, achieving sales goals through proactive engagement, promoting products and financing options, maintaining knowledge of offerings and promotions, processing transactions accurately, handling cash, supporting showroom operations, assisting with merchandising and furniture movement, and adhering to policies. Requires strong customer service, communication, product knowledge, ability to meet sales targets, multitasking in a retail environment, basic math, and physical ability to lift/move furniture; availability for weekends and extended hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant sales or customer service experience will be considered
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred
- Previous social media business building experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and deliver strong customer experiences
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn point-of-sale and financing systems
- Ability to perform physical job requirements, including lifting and moving merchandise with or without accommodation
- Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
