Job Summary
Guide high-end clients through premium sales experiences by curating luxury looks and creating inspired spaces with world-class furniture and décor. Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process, including approach, rapport building, needs discovery, customized portfolio presentations, and closing. Schedule professional home consultations to present customized room designs and assist the Designer in achieving established Design program sales goals. Maintain strong product knowledge of existing and new lines while effectively using Podium to ensure customer satisfaction and follow-up. Support design-related functions, handle customer issues and complaints, and maintain store visual appearance including floor displays and accessory catalogs. Accurately complete daily On-Point system logs, collect deposits, and manage customer records and deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to pass background and drug screen
- Ability to work the schedule and hours dictated by business needs
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
