Job Summary
Sales Consultant responsible for driving store sales of furniture, accessories and services by delivering exceptional customer service and applying the La-Z-Boy selling process. Build long-term customer relationships, promote the Design program, schedule and conduct home design consultations, and assist Designers to achieve design-sales goals. Maintain product knowledge across existing and new lines, assist in store promotions and marketing initiatives, provide accurate order and payment handling, and support a collaborative team environment while working to meet sales targets. Training pay is provided initially, with uncapped commissions and a total earning potential after training ranging from the mid $40k to $65k+ annually.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
