Job Summary
Provide Medical Marijuana Consulting, process authorizations, and print registration cards while verifying identification for all guests. Deliver exceptional customer service by educating guests on product effects, safety, legal limits, and proper implementation. Process cash and electronic transactions using the digital POS system, restock inventory, and complete cleaning duties per the rotating schedule. Maintain strict confidentiality and follow all safety policies and procedures. This part-time role requires 6–8 hours weekly with night and weekend shifts, involving lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Two (2) years of experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality environments
- Cash handling experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communication
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background investigation
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed
- Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to access all areas of the property as required by the position
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, climb, squat, twist, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity with the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
- Ability to frequently reach above and below shoulder level
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- Cannabis industry experience
- Knowledge of the cannabis industry, including cannabis strains, genetics, THC/CBD content, and cannabis terminology
- Passion for learning about health, science, and nature
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, retail POS systems, and social media platforms
- Strong time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
