Job Summary
Sales Consultant responsible for developing and growing Imperial Dade's business in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul region by identifying and qualifying new leads, building relationships with potential customers, and closing deals. Responsibilities include performing cost-benefit analyses for current and potential customers, establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships, cold-calling leads, achieving or exceeding sales targets and budgets, expanding sales within existing accounts with new items, re-establishing relationships with lost accounts, inputting sales orders, collaborating with the sales manager to address customer needs, attending sales and other meetings, and participating in company promotions. The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of sales experience (preferably in Foodservice/JanSan/Packaging), strong selling, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, excellent time management and organizational abilities, and proficiency in Excel. The role offers a dynamic environment with comprehensive benefits and travel is expected up to 75%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of sales experience in Foodservice, Jan/San, or Packaging
- Outstanding selling, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Excel
