Sales Consultant II - Wisconsin South Central

Job Summary
Promote hospitality and supply products by building relationships with new and existing hotel accounts to achieve sales and profit goals. Make sales calls and presentations to increase category penetration while utilizing consultative techniques, product knowledge, and CRM tools like Salesforce.com. Continuously manage assigned accounts, forecast sales trends, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate invoicing and timely service. Immediately notify management if an account faces discontinuation risks or unresolved issues. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of sales experience, and frequent travel or remote work depending on territory needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business
- 3 - 5 years sales experience with proven record of sales success and history of accomplishments
- Familiarity with general finance concepts
- Must maintain a valid driver license
- Must provide proof of current automobile insurance coverage
- Must have a valid driver's license and provide proof of current automobile insurance coverage as set forth by Sysco
- Must have reliable internet connection
- Must have required software
- Must have a dedicated workspace free of any distractions
- Must demonstrate exceptional work habits, including punctuality and consistent attendance
- Must demonstrate Computer literacy, including familiarity in handling and maintaining a customer database
- Must demonstrate skills that include Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)
- Must demonstrate Internet navigation skills
- Must demonstrate Familiarity with analytical software tools and CRM systems
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred
- Experience in hospitality or supply/distribution sales preferred
- Experience in relationship sales managing new and existing customer opportunities and up-selling preferred
- Experience with trip planning, territory routing and account prioritization preferred
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and professional interactive skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, including planning, prioritizing and executing multiple initiatives autonomously while shifting priorities as necessary
- Strong in person presentation, negotiation and closing skills with customers and prospects
- Ability to think creatively and be solution driven
- Active listening skills to understand and interpret solution driven selling
