Job Summary
Drive sales of amenities, textiles, and janitorial supplies to hotels and management groups by building relationships with new and existing accounts. Conduct consultative selling presentations to increase category penetration while managing assigned accounts to improve customer experience. Forecast sales trends, coordinate with internal departments on product movement and pricing changes, and assist in setting up new accounts. Immediately notify management of account jeopardy and work with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely invoice payments. This role requires frequent travel, a valid driver's license, and may involve evening or weekend work depending on customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business
- 3 - 5 years sales experience with proven record of sales success and history of accomplishments
- Familiarity with general finance concepts
- Must maintain a valid driver license and provide proof of current automobile insurance coverage
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Must be available for evening and weekend work
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred
- Experience in hospitality or supply/distribution sales preferred
- Experience in relationship sales managing new and existing customer opportunities and up-selling preferred
- Experience with trip planning, territory routing and account prioritization preferred
