Job Summary
Sales Consultant role for Fortune Fish & Gourmet focused on developing new business and expanding existing accounts by understanding customer needs, collaborating with chefs/restaurants, and promoting premium seafood and gourmet products. Drive revenue and gross profit through strategic customer alignment, expert product promotion, and exceptional service, while coordinating with product, logistics, and finance teams. Responsibilities include building trust with clients, delivering customized product solutions, staying informed on market trends, aligning inventory and credit terms, and developing pricing strategies. Requires outside sales experience in perishable foods, strong communication, and ability to manage proposals and follow-ups with customers.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of outside sales experience in perishable food products
- 2–5 years of professional sales in the foodservice industry, or 5–7 years in chef/restaurant management
- Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts preferred, or 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Advanced English verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Presentation Software, Social Media Platforms
