Job Summary
Sales Consultant at Chartwell Retirement Residence responsible for leveraging consultative sales processes to help seniors and adult children choose a retirement residence, driving occupancy and meeting sales targets, managing inquiries, conducting personal visits, closing leases, tracking activity in CRM, developing partnerships with local healthcare and community networks, and developing and promoting marketing plans and events. Requires proven consultative sales experience, ability to follow sales processes, strong customer service and networking skills, knowledge of local area, valid provincial driver’s license, and flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a consultative sales role
- Ability to follow an established sales process including prospecting and closing
- Empathetic and caring interpersonal customer service skills
- Ability to network, multi-task and promote services
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of the surrounding area and communities, valid provincial driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Computer literacy with knowledge of related software programs
