Sales Consultant- Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, NY

Sales Consultant for Sysco Specialty Meat Group in NY territories (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens). Build and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory, conduct in-person visits and presentations, take customer orders aligned with SSMG goals, and coordinate with inside sales. Drive sales profitability, growth, and account penetration by promoting products, managing pricing and credits/returns, reviewing stock and transportation issues, analyzing sales and margin data, staying informed on product applications and market conditions, and participating in training and customer events. Must be self-motivated with strong customer relations skills, and proficient in MS Outlook. Requires 2-year prior food service and/or sales experience preferred.
