Job Summary
Sell new and used vehicles at the dealership while maintaining professional standards consistent with Route 24 Auto Group's core values. Support the company mission by ensuring customer satisfaction, profitability, and adherence to all policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Maintain knowledge of product updates, features, and accessories to address specific customer needs, and stay current with federal and state retail auto sales laws. Participate in lot maintenance and snow removal as necessary. Report any situations jeopardizing the dealership's integrity to management.
Required Qualifications
- Self-motivated
- Incredible Customer service experience
- Fantastic communication skills
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Automotive and sales experience
- Maintains professional growth and development through self-directed learning activities and involvement in professional organizations
- Maintain knowledge of product updates, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit specific needs of the customer
- Understand all the Federal and State laws pertaining to retail auto sales, and cash reporting regulations
- Ability to pass all product knowledge, core competency tests administered by members of management team
- Maintains professional appearance and demeanor at all times, including work areas
- Be punctual to all scheduled shifts and meetings
- Participate in snow removal and lot maintenance as necessary
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- Experience preferred but will train the right candidate
- Automotive and sales experience helpful (not required)
