Job Summary
Sales Compensation Manager role within Verkada’s Sales Strategy and Operations group. Drive analytics, processes, and systems that support incentive design for a 1,000+ salesforce, including monthly/quarterly business reviews, compensation workflows, and enablement content for new hires. Daily work in Salesforce and Google Sheets/Excel, engaging with sales, engineering, people, and finance stakeholders to troubleshoot systems issues, review insights, and build future-state processes. Candidates should bring high-impact self-starting, strong analytical abilities, experience with Excel (SQL/Tableau/Looker a plus), and effective cross-functional communication to scale compensation programs and drive efficiency in a fast-paced startup environment.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in sales, sales operations, compensation, or strategy
- Bachelor's or master's degree from a top school preferred
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Excel skills are a must; SQL/Tableau/Looker experience is a plus
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, finance, and people teams
- Strong analytical and data-driven problem solving skills
- Willingness to work on-site five days per week
