Sales Compensation Manager

Job Summary
Administer sales variable payments, including commissions, draws, MBOs, and SPIFFs, in accordance with monthly commission processes and company policies. Understand and apply commission plans consistently to ensure calculations comply with policies, manage exception requests, and address inquiries, adjustments, and corrections. Maintain sales comp plan document templates, execute distributions, validate accruals and payment results, and document business processes for monthly/quarterly closes and audits. Support participant setup for new hires and terminations, perform User Acceptance Testing for configuration changes, and contribute to process improvements to scale operations. Provide insights on business drivers for commission variances and ensure accurate, timely payments across assigned sales teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a Sales Compensation role
- Bachelor's Degree
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or related field
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
- Organizational skills
- Analytical skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets and/or MS Excel
- Experience in automated sales commissions systems and their set-up and operation (e.g. Xactly, Captivate IQ, Varicent, Everstage, etc.)
- Proven attention to detail
- Good business acumen
