Job Summary
Sales Category Manager responsible for building strategic partnerships with local distributors to grow P&G business in specific product categories/channels in Kazakhstan. Define winning channel and customer choices, deploy Shopper Based Design planogram standards, deliver commercial plans within budget, transform Strategic Revenue Management including category growth, price, promo, portfolio, and mix, track ROI/cost-event analysis, and develop a superior Go-to-Market strategy by channel. Support field Sales personnel of the distributor's organization, contribute to stewardship on compliant spending, and participate in the P&G training portfolio. Hybrid work arrangement (office and remote) in Almaty, with collaboration across Kazakhstan and Moscow teams.
Required Qualifications
- Higher education diploma
- At least 2 years of work experience in FMCG, preferably in Sales/Key Account Management, Distributor Operations, Trade or Shopper Marketing roles
- Good command of English (Upper-Intermediate or higher level)
- Strong knowledge of Excel, knowledge of Power BI would be considered a competitive advantage
- Budget management experience would be considered an advantage
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills to identify business opportunities
- Ability to handle complexity under time pressure while keeping the big picture in mind
- Strong operational discipline and excellent communication skills
