Job Summary
Automotive BDC Associate responsible for handling inbound calls and internet leads, identifying client needs, and scheduling appointments for the Sales department. Tasks include placing outbound calls, addressing customer questions about costs and warranties prior to appointments, confirming appointments, following up after visits to ensure satisfaction, maintaining knowledge of promotions and inventory, attending sales meetings, and consistently meeting or exceeding dealership objectives. Requires an active Vehicle Salesperson License with the DMV, high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication and CRM skills; bilingual ability and call-center experience are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Active Vehicle Salesperson License with the DMV
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous sales experience or passion for cars preferred
- Bi-lingual/multi-lingual preferred
- High level of professionalism
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or phone-based work
- Computer literacy – developing proficiency with all features of the BDC CRM software
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Call center experience is a plus, but not necessary
- Valid Driver's License and ability to maintain insurability
