Job Summary
Sales Associate in West Elm Outlet (Lancaster, PA) focused on delivering world-class customer service and meeting sales goals in a fast-paced specialty retail environment. Responsibilities include assisting customers with product knowledge, processing POS transactions, handling gift services (wrap, registry, catalog orders, special orders, back orders, courier deliveries, and furniture orders), applying effective selling techniques to drive multiple sales, maintaining knowledge of current promotions, supporting visual merchandising (signage and lighting), and maintaining store cleanliness and stockroom organization. Physical duties include lifting up to 75 lbs and operating a POS system. Requirements include 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent preferred. This is a part-time role with required weekend availability and potentially two additional weekday shifts; full-time associates are expected to have open availability to meet business needs.
