Job Summary
As a Sales Associate/Material Handler at The Salvation Army Corona Thrift Store, you will ensure customer and donor needs are met through genuine greetings and assistance, stock items for merchandising, maintain store cleanliness, follow cash register policies, and assist in the receipt and sorting of donations. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, proficiency in POS transactions, and the ability to communicate effectively with others. The position requires physical stamina for lifting and handling merchandise and flexible scheduling to cover store hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent required
- Must be able to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions
- Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors
